The last time out, the Milwaukee Bucks got their butts kicked by the Toronto Raptors. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. were totally blown out by Toronto, 130-111, which remains to be Milwaukee’s biggest loss of the season thus far.

These two teams face off again on Wednesday night, and you can be sure that the Bucks will have revenge on their minds.

Milwaukee Bucks Coach Adrian Griffin Sounds Off on Raptors Rematch

Ahead of Wednesday’s highly-anticipated rematch, Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin dropped an important message about his team’s mindset entering this game. According to Coach Griff, the Raptors better be ready to face a whole different Milwaukee side.

“The last outing I thought we kept fighting, and that was the most important thing,” he said. “… You learn from every game and you continue to improve. Obviously, we’re a different team. I’m just saying as far as our growth, I think we’re a different team. We’re a better team today. I know we don’t have Giannis in the lineup but I think we’ve made some really good progress over the last couple of weeks.”

As Griffin said, the Bucks will be without superstar Giannis Anteotkounmpo on Wednesday as the former back-to-back MVP deals with a calf injury.

The Raptors, though, will also be without OG Anunoby as well as Gary Trent Jr. That doesn’t exactly even the odds, but this gives a shorthanded Bucks side a bigger chance of potentially upsetting Toronto on their own home floor.

Damian Lillard will have his hands full on Wednesday as he looks to lead the Bucks to victory in his first game without Antetokounmpo. This should be a good one.
