Brooks was fined $35,000 for his language as well as ‘publicly criticizing the officiating’ while Udoka was fined $25,000 for his language.

Udoka and Brooks’ comments leading to the fine stemmed from an incident in the final minute of the fourth quarter against the Bucks.  While trying to steal the ball, Brooks got pushed out of bounds by Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton without a foul called.  Brooks fell into the front row, got up, and starting shouting at the referees. That led to a technical foul and his ejection.

The Milwaukee Bucks’ 128-119 win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday did not have a shortage of action. It was a tightly contested affair, which required a 39-point explosion from Damian Lillard to snap Houston’s five-game winning streak. One of the most contentious moments of the game came in the final minute of the fourth quarter after Dillon Brooks was ejected from the game for being a bit too overzealous in his conversation with the game official.

The Houston Rockets are back in the loss column after falling to the Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers in back-to-back nights.

While the Rockets fought hard, they were ultimately unable to pull out a win against Eastern Conference playoff contenders, which prompted a four-spot drop in the latest NBA power rankings from CBS Sports. The team now sits at No. 14 after cracking a top-10 spot last week.
