Higgins has missed all three Bengals games during this losing streak.

CINCINNATI — Tee Higgins said “the plan” is to play this Monday night against Jacksonville as Bengals quarterback Jake Browning gets excited to have one of his top weapons back in the fold.

Higgins is one of the Bengals’ best players and has missed the past three games (all losses) due to injury after suffering a hamstring ailment in practice following the win over Buffalo.

“He’s one of the top receivers in the NFL, I don’t think you can really put into words how important he is to this offense,” Browning said on Thursday. “I think we got a really good receiver room and I don’t want to take away from. I think Andrei’s (Iosivas) is playing really well. Trenton Irwin has proven he can do it. But there’s just something Tee brings to the table being as big as fast and having the experience he does. It’s always nice to have him and Ja’Marr (Chase) outside.”

Higgins will try to turn around a regular season with averages all below his career marks in catches per game (3.9), yards per game (46.9), and yards per catch (12.1).

He went limited in practice on Thursday with the hamstring injury and a listed ankle issue.
