LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Kentucky man has been arrested and charged with robbing two Louisville businesses earlier this month.

Detectives with the Louisville Metro Police Department, with assistance from Mt. Sterling police, arrested 51-year-old Tommy Jerome Hardin on Wednesday.

LMPD said on June 10, Hardin robbed House of Gelish Nails on Bardstown Road at gunpoint and Bearno’s Pizza on Taylorsville Road. Police served several search warrants in Montgomery and Bath counties in Kentucky that turned up evidence in both robberies.

Hardin is charged with robbery and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail. He is expected to be arraigned in Jefferson County on July 9.

Police said Hardin is a “violent career criminal.” He was convicted and served 20 of his 40-year sentence for robbing 33 Louisville businesses in 2003, and was paroled in 2022. He also has past robbery convictions in Warren, Meade, Nelson, Hardin and Daviess counties in Kentucky.
