Leeds United will be attempting to win consecutive Championship games on the road against Hull City.

The Whites hope that their 3-0 victory at Millwall, which marked their first game back from the break, will serve as the season’s opening act.

Daniel Farke might be tempted to make a few adjustments against the Tigers in order to keep his team fresh given the quick turnaround.

However, he will not want to make too many, though, with Hull in good form and currently sat fifth in the table having not lost since the opening day.

Here is our predicted XI for the game.

Goalkeeper

Illan Meslier retained his place in goal ahead of Karl Darlow.

Defense

Liam Cooper could return from the injury he picked up on matchday one against Cardiff City, but Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk look set to continue their central defensive partnership.

At full-back, a change is possible, with Jamie Shackleton demanding a recall. Leeds will need to carefully manage Sam Byram’s fitness and allow him to drop to left-back, while Luke Ayling continues on the right.

Midfielder

Like Byram, Archie Gray will also need to manage his minutes and so with another game on Saturday, Glen Kamara could make his official debut.

Farke did not seem too worried about Ethan Ampadu’s late goal at Millwall, meaning he will start again.

Attack

Farke said in his press conference that he did not want to make too many changes and so with two changes already made in this XI, the first four could stay the same.

Jaidon Anthony and Dan James will both start, but Willy Gnonto, Joel Piroe, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter will all retain their places.

Expected lineup (4-2-3-1):

Meslier; Ayling, Rodon, Struijk, Shackleton; Kamara, Ampadu; Summerville, Piroe, Gnonto; Rao
