Despite losing Harry Kane in the summer, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou now has a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal.

Indeed, Tottenham are flying high right now, with five wins and two draws from their opening seven Premier League games. But, there is always room for improvement.

Tottenham and Real Madrid interested in Sabinho

Looking ahead to the January transfer window and beyond, it looks like another attacking talent has been linked with a move to north London. According to TEAMtalk, 19-year-old Brazilian striker Savinho is on the radar of Spurs.

The youngster is currently on loan at La Liga side Girona, but currently plays for French club Troyes. He joined the Ligue 1 side last summer, but has not played there yet, having spent some time on loan at PSV Eindhoven for the 2022/23 season.

This season, Savinho has two goals and four assists for Girona (Transfermarkt). And, it seems his form has caught the eye of both Tottenham and Real Madrid.

The report claims signing a new forward will be among Postecoglou’s “main priorities” in January, and Savinho is thought to be “very much in Tottenham’s thinking.”

The player has already admitted he would like to play in the Premier League, but rejected Arsenal last summer before moving to France.

Spurs may have the upper hand in the race now, however, as Real Madrid are not thought to have the financial means to make it possible.

Spurs Web Opinion

Savinho has started the season in great form over in Spain and is clearly ready for top-flight football despite his age. He could be an interesting addition to Spurs’ roster, but I’d like to see if he can keep up this form all year before we take that chance on him.
