According to Fichajes.net, Bryan Gil of Tottenham is a target for both Real Sociedad and Valencia in January.

With a groyne injury that has kept him out since the beginning of preseason, Gil has yet to play for Spurs under Ange Postecoglou, but the winger recently posted on social media to say that he is almost fully recovered.

It remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old will force himself into Postecoglou’s plans but it has now been reported in Spain that he is likely to be on his way out of the club when the transfer window reopens.

Two La Liga clubs want to sign Brian Gill from Spurs

Fichajes.net claims the Australian coach is not counting on Gill and Spurs deciding to release the winger in January. The player is said to be on the radar of Sociedad and Valencia, who are in need of reinforcements in the suburbs.

It is explained that Sociedad are plotting a move for the Tottenham man if Real Madrid exercise their option to buy back Take Kubo while Valencia want the Spain international to fill the void left by Samu Lino’s departure to Atletico Madrid in the summer.

The publication adds that both clubs will explore an initial loan deal for Gil with an option to make it permanent next summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

I initially did not expect Gil to get any game time at Spurs until January but Ivan Perisic’s ACL injury might offer the Spaniard a lifeline. I can now see the 22-year-old getting some minutes as an impact sub and if he does, it would be up to him to impress Postecoglou.
