The Green Bay Packers might not be with wide receiver Christian Watson when they visit MetLife Stadium to play the New York Giants for Monday Night Football. Watson missed the Packers‘ Thursday practice due to the hamstring injury he suffered during their Week 13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. It’s still unknown how severe the injury is, though there have been reports indicating it might not be that serious.

Regardless, however, there’s a chance that Watson misses a game or two. The 24-year-old wide receiver himself isn’t confident that he’ll be able to suit up come Week 14 when they play the Giants. Watson indicated to reporters on Thursday that it’s unlikely he will be able to play in the Monday Night Football showdown since his injury will likely need more time to recover, per Ryan Wood of USA Today.

Despite the rather concerning news, though, Christian Watson did share that he’s doing everything he can to make sure he doesn’t get injured often. Watson noted that he has already spent “tens of thousands of dollars” consulting medical experts in order to better learn what he needs to do. As for the case of his hamstring, he is looking to strengthen his back so that the “hamstring doesn’t overcompensate,”
