Rangers have been handed a major injury boost as crocked trio Nicolas Raskin, Kemar Roofe and Danilo are spotted back on the grass.

The Gers are in the midst of major injury problems this season with the list reaching ten Rangers players following the weekend’s humiliation against Aberdeen.

With the injuries contributing to the downfall of Michael Beale, who was relieved of his Ibrox duties this week, photographs coming out of the club will be a boost to interim manager Steven Davis.

In the latest round of training snaps released by the club, Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin, Brazilian striker Danilo and Jamaican international Kemar Roofe can all be spotted being put through their paces.

Rangers handed treble injury boost

Nicolas Raskin has been out of the Rangers team since the 2-0 win over St Johnstone in mid-September and now appears to be edging closer to an injury return.

Prior to his sacking, Michael Beale had claimed there was a chance the club might see both Nicolas Raskin and Kieran Dowell before the next international break.

The presence of Brazilian striker Danilo also comes as a huge boost to Rangers with the South American also out of the team since the victory in Perth.

Clashing with Saints defender Liam Gordon and fracturing his cheekbone, the comments of Michael Beale suggested the striker would be out for up to two months.

But after posting on Instagram this week, it appeared Danilo was ahead of schedule in his return from the nasty injury although he is almost certainly not ready to play this week.

It is likely that when the ex-Feyenoord forward does start playing he will be wearing a protective mask and Rangers fans will be hoping that is sooner rather than later.

Finally, the situation involving Kemar Roofe is a major boost to Rangers fans and potentially good news in the face of a scan on a groin problem.

There has been major criticism levelled at the club for a perceived reliance on the injury prone striker who once again looked to be facing time out of the side.

But in the training snaps Kemar Roofe was spotted training with his teammates and fans will await an update on the situation from interim manager Steven Davis.
