One of Tennessee’s top targets is now just a few days away from announcing his college decision. Five-star Class of 2024 offensive tackle Jordan Seaton of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., revealed Monday evening in posts on his social-media accounts that he’s set to reveal his commitment on Thursday, and the Vols are among the half-dozen teams still in the running for him.

The 6-foot-5, 287-pound Seaton plans to choose between six finalists: Maryland, Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. He’s coming off an official visit to Ohio State that ended Monday.

He has also taken official visits to Alabama, Colorado, Florida and Tennessee. The Vols hosted him on an official visit the weekend of Nov. 18 to attend their home game against Georgia. He made his first trip to Knoxville the weekend of Sept. 30 to attend Tennessee’s win over South Carolina.

Seaton has received scholarship offers from more than 30 schools, including all six of the schools he’s strongly considering. He’s a five-star prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, where he’s ranked the No. 15 overall player and No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2024 class. He’s also rated a five-star prospect by 247Sports, where he’s ranked the No. 30 overall player and No. 2 offensive tackle in the 2024 class.

Following his official visit to Tennessee more than two weeks ago, Seaton didn’t tip his hand on exactly where the Vols stood among his favorites. But he said they were “in a good spot” coming out of his second trip to Knoxville in less than two months, and he said they had “a real shot” at landing him.

After attending Tennessee’s 41-20 win over South Carolina nearly two months earlier, he said he was happy to show his parents every aspect of the Vols’ program during his official visit to Knoxville. He again came away impressed by the game-day atmosphere inside Neyland Stadium, along with what he heard from Tennessee coach Josh Heupel‘s staff.
