The Dallas Cowboys must keep their eyes on the task at hand as they prepare for the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving Day.

After starting 2-0 to begin the season, the Commanders have lost seven of their last nine games and are trending downward. However, the Cowboys know not to take a Commanders team lightly, who thoroughly embarrassed them the last time these two teams met on Thanksgiving by a score of 41-16. Dallas must be ready on Thursday, starting with the team’s health.

After not practicing yesterday, Jayron Kearse and Rico Dowdle did not practice again on Tuesday. CeeDee Lamb and Terence Steele practiced for a second consecutive day and were upgraded to full participants. Despite being a bit hobbled in the latter stages of Dallas’ win on Sunday, Lamb clarified his injury status and assured the media he will play Thursday. KaVontae Turpin and Osa Odighizuwa practiced fully and are on track to play Thanksgiving. Tyron Smith and Michael Gallup were given the day off.

Lastly, for the Commanders, Emmanuel Forbes did not practice for a second consecutive day. Meanwhile, Antonio Gibson was a limited participant again on Wednesday.
