Before the Crystal Palace match, an injury expert provides an update on Everton standout Amadou Onana.
Amadou Onana, an Everton midfielder, has been updated by injury expert Ben Dinnery ahead of Saturday’s matchup with Crystal Palace.

Dinnery has given the Belgium international a 50-50 chance of playing in the match on his website Premier Injuries, meaning there’s an equal chance he’ll be fit or not.

Thus far, there is no official word from the club about his fitness and Sean Dyche will be hoping he’s available for the game.

Onana has been exceptional under Dyche this season and when fit, is among the first names on the teamsheet for the Toffees.

He’s been an enforcer in the middle of the park and his work rate has been second to none for Dyche’s side this season.

Despite not bringing in any new first-team midfielders, all of them look to have improved under the manager’s tutelage.

Abdoulaye Doucoure appears to be like a player reborn too playing in that number 10 position and it remains to be seen whether Everton will comfortably avoid relegation.

Given all that’s going on behind the scenes, 14th place or higher will be considered an exceptional season.

Dyche has been in these pressure situations many a time in the past and hopefully, will be able to succeed once again.
