At this point, it no longer comes as a surprise when Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has some sort of historic achievement.

Well, Giannis was up to his usual antics again on Sunday as he surpassed the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most career rebounds in Bucks franchise history.

This wasn’t just any record for Antetokounmpo, though, as becoming the all-time rebound leader for the Bucks allowed Giannis to hold the No. 1 spot in the franchise record books for four different stats.

Right now, Antetokounmpo is the Bucks’ all-time leader in points (17,065), rebounds (7,165), assists (3,503), and blocks (936).

Only five other players in the history of the NBA hold at least four all-time records for a single franchise. They are LeBron James for the Cleveland Cavaliers (points, rebounds, assists, and steals), Michael Jordan for the Chicago Bulls (points, rebounds, assists, and steals), Hakeem Olajuwon for the Houston Rockets (points, rebounds, steals, and blocks) and Patrick Ewing for the New York Knicks (points, rebounds, steals, and blocks).

Quite an elite company for Giannis, right?

Kevin Garnett is the only player in NBA history to hold five all-time records for one franchise. After a memorable 14-year career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Garnett holds the franchise record for points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.

For what it’s worth, Giannis still has a chance to match or even surpass Garnett’s incredible record. It’s going to be a tall task, though, with Antetokounmpo needing 778 more triples (and counting) to catch Khris Middleton’s three-point record (1,281) and/or 191 more steals to surpass Quinn Bucker’s record for all-time steals.
