The midfielder’s lack of usage this season can only be explained by Ange Postecoglou, according to Pierre-Emile Højbjerg of Tottenham Hotspur, who spoke with Tipsbladet.

The midfielder was a regular till the end of the previous season after joining Spurs in 2020. The 28-year-old has suffered since the appointment of the former Celtic boss, as he has become less well-known at the north London team. The Danish international has played in 30 games for a total of less than 1,200 minutes, with just six of those starts coming in the league for Tottenham this year.

Højbjerg’s circumstance at the Chief Alliance side hasn’t affected his put within the national group squad and he’s been called up for all four universal breaks this season.
He made his 75th appearance for Denmark against Faroe Islands on Tuesday. After the tie, the previous Southampton man had a chat with Tipsbladet and other individuals of the Danish press.

“Of course I’m not cheerful with what’s going on at the club. It’s not a mystery, but it’s not something I make a object around either.
