Green Bay Packers CB Eric Stokes Suffered Devastating Injury Setback During Week 7 Return

The Green Bay Packers revealed a devastating update for starting cornerback Eric Stokes. The Packers 2021 first-round pick made his return in Week 7 for the first time since he injured his ankle in Week 9 last season. Stokes was activated off the PUP list this weekend.

The Green Bay Packers ruled out a couple of defenders

Unfortunately for Stokes and the Packers, Stokes had to leave the game in the first half due to injury. According to a statement by the Packers, Stokes sustained a hamstring injury. Safety Darnell Savage had to leave the game due to a calf injury.

According to Ryan Wood with USA Today, Stokes, Darnell Savage, and Devonte Wyatt were all ruled out of the Broncos game.

Per Lauren Helmbrecht, Stokes looked frustrated on the sideline after coming out of the game.
