The biggest storyline heading into the Philadelphia 76ers matchup with the Chicago Bulls Tuesday was the return of Joel Embiid. After missing four games with an injured ankle, the reigning MVP had an all-around dominant return to action.

Due to Nikola Vucevic being out, the Bulls were thin in the frontcourt. Andre Drummond was their only answer for Embiid, and he made the most of it. After picking apart the defense with his passing early on, the Sixers star went on to notch his second triple-double of the season.

It took Embiid just three quarters to achieve the seventh triple-double of his career. He ended up finishing the night with a stat line of 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists. With this performance, he matched a former teammate in two major categories.

Now with seven triple-doubles to his name, Embiid is now tied for the sixth-most in franchise history. He has now matched his former teammate James Harden.
