Simon Jordan believes Ange Postecoglou will continue his promising start to life at Tottenham Hotspur with a statement Premier League victory over unbeaten Liverpool on Saturday evening.

Straight-talking and never shy in coming forward, has there ever been a Premier League manager more guaranteed to win over the famously outspoken former Crystal Palace chairman?

However, Simon Jordan is not the only one under the guidance of Ange Postecoglou, as the increasingly popular Tottenham Hotspur boss is threatening to turn the London giants into everyone’s favorite ‘second team’.

Except for Arsenal, of course.

The impressive run of results only adds to the feeling that Postecoglou – league champions in Australia, Japan and Scotland – are bringing back some of the magic of the Mauricio Pochettino era, with Spurs perhaps unfortunate only to draw in the Emirates a few weeks later. far surpassing Manchester United.

Ange Postecoglou impressed at Tottenham

“I think Postecoglou (in a few seasons) will get what he wants from Tottenham,” Jordan told talkSPORT (September 27, 12:30pm); former Celtic manager, a refreshing change from the mind games and misery of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

“They signed him to a four-year contract, which is a far cry from what they gave Mourinho and Conte. There’s a better solution out there. A more mature, mature, less vain and more invested manager who can help them move forward.

“So I think there’s a different dynamic. I don’t think Postecoglou has the same charisma as Jurgen Klopp, but he has an earthy quality. It is relative.

Spurs face Liverpool in north London

Tottenham face one of the biggest early tests of the Postecoglou era this weekend. Klopp’s Liverpool arrive in the capital after five wins in their opening six Premier League matches.

When asked to pick a winner from arguably this season’s most intriguing clash so far, however, Jordan was quick to throw his backing behind the man threatening to take Kylie Minogue’s crown as the UK’s favourite Aussie.

Oh Ange, we just can’t get you out of our heads…

“Spurs (will beat Liverpool),” Jordan declares in typically bullish fashion.
