Former Tottenham Hotspur star Dimitar Berbatov has predicted the north London side to beat Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday
Berbatov, who spent two years at Tottenham before joining Manchester United, said in an interview with Betfair that he believes Spurs have the ability to pick up all three points at home against Jurgen Klopp’s side..
He said: “Spurs need to take chances and not let their guard down when or if they concede. I think they can get it done. Prediction 2-1.”
Berbatov thinks that Tottenham, who have been unable to win over Liverpool at home in the last six league fixtures, will finally be able to get one over the Merseyside outfit.

Coming into the fixture, both teams are on a good run, with Liverpool on a seven-game winning run in all competitions, scoring three goals in each of their last five matches.
As for Tottenham, while they have dropped a few points in the league, the Lilywhites are still unbeaten under Ange Postecoglou and have shown resilience in the last few games.
Spurs came from behind in the final minutes to get all three points against Sheffield United and equalised twice at the Emirates Stadium as the fixture ended in a 2-2 draw.
Son Heung-min and James Maddison have formed an impressive partnership up front for Tottenham and have not let the North London side feel the effects of Harry Kane’s departure so far.
However, Spurs have looked fragile at the back with Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven struggling to keep clean sheets despite playing very well.
