Tiger Woods will make his first public appearance since pulling out of the Genesis Invitational last month on Monday when he plays the Seminole Pro-Member.

Midway through February, at Riviera Country Club, the 48-year-old was making his first start on the PGA Tour since returning from injury. However, things did not go nearly as planned, as Woods was forced to withdraw due to influenza before the weekend. However, after getting some rest and considering getting in a few more significant reps before The Masters (and maybe The Players Championship), the 15-time Major winner has decided to make his professional debut at the one-day event in Juno Beach, Florida. The incredibly elite event, a two-person best-ball match that always takes place on the Monday following the Cognizant Classic, attracts the finest and brightest from the worlds of business, sports, and golf.

Woods has been paired with PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh and will play in a foursome with his good friend and two-time Major winner, Justin Thomas, as well as his playing partner, Mike Walrath, chairman and CEO of software company, Yext. Over the next seven days, several of the players at Seminole will play twice; the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the PGA Tour’s next Signature Event, is scheduled to get underway at Bay Hill on Thursday.

However, it is not anticipated that Woods will be among them.
