James Maddison had one last message for his Tottenham Hotspur captain

Son Heung-Min received one final message from James Maddison before departing for international duty yesterday.

After the victory over Luton Town, Maddison posted on X to remind Son that it was still possible to join him on Sunday for a round of golf.

The England midfielder asked Son to be his caddie for the day since he is hosting an exclusive charity golf outing.

Son had to decline the invitation because he had to leave for international duties with South Korea relatively quickly.

And Maddison, in excellent spirits, scribbled on X, “Never too late Sonny.”

While Maddison’s golfing prowess is little unknown, his footballing accomplishments have been nothing short of extraordinary.

Maddison was a star yesterday, along with the center-back team of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.

With Son still recovering from an injury, Maddison is now constantly putting on world-class performances for Tottenham, which is very noteworthy.

Ange Postecoglou’s team was having trouble scoring at Kenilworth Road, especially after Yves Bissouma was sent off.

Madison, however, had the spark.

At Tottenham, Maddison and Son are forming a fantastic relationship.
Even though Son won’t be Maddison’s caddie today, he is already shown that he makes the ideal teammate on the soccer field.

Some Spurs supporters must have been quite concerned to losing Son and Harry Kane’s almost telepathic connection this summer.

But it appears that £22 million Son has finally located a suitable substitute.

Although they still have a long way to go before they match the assist and goal totals of the storied Tottenham team, Maddison and Son aren’t wasting any time.

With high hopes for their chances this season, Ange’s team will now enter the international break.

In the future, Spurs will play Fulham before matches against Crystal Palace and Chelsea.
