Granted, neither of those players is going to be a “sexy” addition for the Milwaukee Bucks. Instead, they would simply add more depth and be able to play a role when called upon. Milwaukee could look to go bigger on the trade market, but it seems more likely that they would make this kind of move.

O’Neal, currently with the Brooklyn Nets, has averaged 7.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game this season. On the other hand, Wright is averaging 4.9 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game with the Washington Wizards.

No one would be ecstatic about acquiring either one of these guys. But, these are the kinds of moves that championship contenders make. Adding talent to the back-end of the roster is a must in case of injury.

The Milwaukee Bucks are fresh off of a tough loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday night to begin the New Year. It was an unfortunate loss, but a hard-fought game nonetheless. They will have a chance for revenge against the Pacers on Wednesday night in Indiana.

With that being said, the Bucks are still currently one of the top potential NBA Finals contenders in the league. After the loss to the Pacers, they still hold a 24-9 record, which is good enough for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 NBA trade deadline, the Bucks would be wise to consider making a move or two. At the very least, beefing up the depth, especially on the wing, would make a ton of sense.
