Coach Cristobal and Coach Mirabal has made me such a priority,” Strebig told InsideTheU following his visit. “They don’t just say that–they show it. They came up to my school, got the chopper up there, braved the cold, and just here today, how we were able to connect and talk. We were just watching the divisional game together. I just feel comfortable here. That’s a big thing too, and my dad is comfortable and my mom is comfortable with the staff. It’s been good so far.”

Miami hosted one of its top offensive line targets in Waukesha (WI) Catholic Memorial four-star offensive lineman Owen Strebig on Sunday on the back end of what was a busy weekend in Coral Gables.

The 6-foot-8, 295-pounder is very familiar with the Hurricanes at this stage of the process and spending time around Mario Cristobal, Alex Mirabal, Ed Pata, and graduate assistant Reggie Bain only solidified his feelings about Miami as a school. Strebig said Miami and Notre Dame are two schools sitting at the top of his recruitment at this stage of the process.

Chaminade-Madonna receiver Jabari Brady, who was at Florida and Miami the last two weekends, said Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Penn State were among the places he wanted to visit.
