A large majority of the current Michigan Wolverines only know beating Ohio State and winning Big Ten titles. How awesome is that?!

For the third year in a row, Michigan is atop the conference, and for the second year in a row, Michigan is 13-0 and heading to the College Football Playoff unscathed after defeating Iowa, 26-0. Jim Harbaugh made his return to the sidelines and used the opportunity to do something that has never happened at U-M before. The Wolverines won the Big Ten outright for three straight years. Just like in a couple of the other huge wins this season,

im Harbaugh returned to the sidelines for the Big Ten Championship and clearly knew he didn’t have to do much to beat Iowa. Once the Wolverines were up 10-0, that was probably going to be enough, and Harbaugh knew it. It was a pretty easy day for the Wolverines filled with a rather vanilla gameplan, no deep shots and not much risk taking. After a couple of Blake Corum touchdowns and a few James Turner field goals, Harbaugh and Michigan were more than content to get out of town with a 26-0 win.

It’s not surprising, but just like every other game this year, Mike Sainristil was outstanding. The senior finished with just one tackle, but he was around the ball a lot and caused two fumbles — one on a low, textbook open field tackle and another on a quarterback hit. Sainristil leads the Wolverines in interceptions, racks up tackles and PBUs week in and week out and probably has the best hit of the season, which he did last week against Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henders. Agent Zero is THAT DUDE.

Iowa had only given up two rushing touchdowns all season, so Blake Corum decided to double that total in the Big Ten Championship game. Corum, who has scored a touchdown in every single game this year, just has a nose for the end zone. Inside the five, it’s Corum time and he almost never disappoints. Corum wasn’t insanely productive against the staunch Hawkeyes rush defense, but he scored twice and finished the day with 52 yards on 16 carries.
