Leaving the Championship is not an easy task, it requires not only a good manager, a great team but also a bit of magic. For Marcelo Bielsa, the one who brings that bit of magic is Pablo Hernandez. In his day he was one of the best players in the Championship, our heartbeat, our talisman, who often pulled something special from his pocket, creating a unexpected chance and score a great goal. While our promotion to the Premier League was a revolution for Bielsa, it is hard to see how this revolution could have been successful without magician Pablo Hernández.

Daniel Farke has had a difficult summer at Elland Road seeing 17 players leave so far. Most fans wouldn’t mind much of that spending, with the exception of Tyler Adams perhaps, but so far Leeds have kept their real magicians, Luis Sinisterra among them. Injuries hindered him somewhat last season, but his class was on display, seven goals in fifteen appearances last season speaking for themselves. In the two games we’ve seen Sinisterra so far so far, it’s clear he’s at the top of this league and can make a real difference for Leeds United this season. If we can keep it, great!

As with many players, Sinisterra is said to have a relegation clause in his contract and his absence from the team for games against Birmingham City and West Brom as he ‘explore legal issues’ ‘ is widely published. But with his terms expiring and Daniel Farke reintroducing Sinisterra and Gnonto into the team of the day for Ipswich, it is expected he will stay at Elland Road this season. The talented Colombian certainly showed determination as he racked up an assist and a goal at Portman Road last weekend.

But this deadline may not upset Leeds United fans, with many rumored to be interested in Sinisterra. So far, the Leeds board has stood firm, rejecting offers for Sinistera, Gnonto and Summerville, but it is certain that their resolve will be tested tomorrow. Can Leeds keep Summerville on transfer deadline day or will they get an offer too good to refuse?
