Latest news shows that West Ham United has expressed interest in Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

This is not the first time the club have been linked with the player, who is said to be of interest to former boss David Moyes.

Naturally, the club hesitated to sign a player who, despite his obvious talent, was often injured.

The Toffees may be forced to make an upcoming decision on the 27-year-old centre-forward, with his contract set to expire in 2025.

They risk losing him for nothing, which is a major concern due to their financial problems.

Indeed, it has been reported that Everton will have to move players by the end of the month to meet the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), but they have stood firm in the face of Manchester’s approach to United for Jarrad Branthwaite.

West Ham need more reinforcements and the club recently confirmed to Claret & Hugh that strikers are a priority in this transfer window.

Brentford have also been linked with the injury-prone striker, who certainly cannot command the £50m transfer fee offered three years ago.

I think he’s definitely someone who will make an impression for the Hammers.
