“If you want to talk about bullies, we can talk about every time Caitlin has the ball she pushes off.”

While some WNBA fans, particularly Caitlin Clark fans, think the star has been treated harshly by other players in the league, one WNBA legend sees it quite differently.

Sheryl Swoopes says that while people are calling out the other players in the league for their rough play, they need to call out Clark also and shouldn’t excuse her.

Swoopes was a guest on Gilbert Arenas‘s podcast in which he called Angel Reese a villain and said she has embraced that role to which Swoopes disagreed.

“[Reese is] not a bully… If you want to talk about bullies, we can talk about every time Caitlin has the ball she pushes off,” Swoopes said. “I’m just saying.”

This is not the first time Swoopes has called out Clark. Swoopes wasn’t that impressed with Clark breaking the NCAA scoring record and said so back in January when she mistakenly thought that Clark was a fifth-year senior.

“If Kelsey Plum set that record in four years, well, Caitlin should’ve broke that record in four years,” Swoopes said. “But because there’s a COVID year, and then there’s another year, you know what I mean? So she’s already had an extra year to break that record. So, is it truly a broken record? I don’t know. I don’t think so. But yeah, that’ll go in the record books. And, I don’t think it should be.”

She later took her comments back, but clearly, she’s no fan of Clark.
