Three men killed in North Circular Road crash named
Three men killed when a car collided with a lorry and caught fire have been named by police.
The car was travelling on London’s North Circular Road in Arnos Grove on 23 December when it hit the central reservation and crashed into a lorry.
All three men were travelling in a Subaru Impreza driven by Jawad Qureshi, 28, from Harrow, north-west London.
The passengers were Toheed Robani, 34, from Willesden, and Haider Qureshi, 28, from Colindale.
Two arrests
Post-mortem examinations deemed Jawad and Haider Qureshi both died of multiple injuries, while Toheed Robani’s cause of death was given as head injuries.
A Vauxhall Astra was also involved in the crash and its two occupants were taken to hospital for treatment.
Two men in the Astra were later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They have been bailed until February.
The lorry driver suffered minor injuries.
